2017 IPOS Training Academy in Kigali, Rwanda. Psycho-Oncology in Cancer Prevention and Control in Africa. IPOS has developed, in close partnership with our colleagues in Africa, a Training Academy on the theme of Cancer Prevention and Control in Africa.The goal of this Training Academy is to train African health care professionals to:
- Better understand cultural, social, and psychological barriers to cancer prevention and control in Africa, and
- Address these barriers through evidenced-based programs.
